This is a working environment to develop a unweighed evaluation tool for impacts by human activities, based on the ' effort' to keep resource cycles closed. Its open source, and material is available for students and researchers that want to contribute to the development or want to use it as study material in students assignments.

The site is run independent by Ronald Rovers, and supported by lecturers and students from several universities. But more is welcome!

MAXergy ( "Maximising Exergy") is the name of the methodology to calculate all impacts to close a resource cycle: from harvesting or mining, to restoring the original stock. ( for organic as well as for minerals and metals). It also does this without weighing factors, bringing all impacts under 1 indicator, 'Embodied Land'.

Embodied Land is in fact the land required to produce all our goods and energy, in a way to maintain the original quality/potential in a system .
More detailed:
Embodied Land is defined as : the land (related to incoming solar radiation) binded over a certain time period required to process ( Embodied Energy) and to restore (Circular energy) the energy and materials involved in providing any functional service , in order to maintain (restore) system potential upon the level before the service provided – based on the only one source that does not deplete our own system environment : Solar radiation.
